Nepean Case Study Project
Nepean River as its traverses the Liverpool local government area
The CMA will undertake a case study in 2006/07 to explore how its programs interact with those of other natural resource managers and how this impacts the CMA's investment.
The concept grew out of the CMA's Catchment Action Plan and draft River Health Strategy, where it became apparent that a more detailed consideration of the influences on catchment health that are outside the responsibility of the Hawkesbury Nepean CMA could assist the organisation to achieve its management objectives and investment priorities. These influences include a wide range of functions, including water management, pollution control and urban planning. The Hawkesbury Nepean CMA will use the results of the case study to help establish and refine priorities, targets and actions for its on ground works in the Nepean subcatchment. Further informationKey natural resource issues in the Nepean subcatchment |
