The Hawkesbury Nepean CMA's local government partnership program provides funding to council-led environmental projects which improve catchment health.
Since 2001, the program has invested over $5 million in catchment health which has effectively seen $10 million invested on the ground with council and community contributions.

Currently this program directs funding to three priorities areas for catchment health:

  • River Health

  • Biodiversity

  • Estuary and saltmarsh

To deliver this funding program, the Hawkesbury Nepean CMA works closely with the Local Government Advisory Group which represents the 23 catchment councils.

For information on the next funding round and to discuss your project idea, councils should contact the Hawkesbury Nepean CMA's Windsor office on (02) 4587 0050.
