Community & Partnership Program
This program sees the Hawkesbury Nepean CMA working with community and landcare groups, landholders, councils, industry and businesses across the catchment to support efforts to improve catchment health.
The Community and Partnership Program underpins the three other program areas of the CMA.
The "community" is everyone who relies on, or lives, plays and works in the Hawkesbury Nepean catchment - over 5 million people need this catchment to be healthy and viable into the future. Over one million people live in the catchment itself. It is a highly diverse community including the largest Aboriginal population in NSW and a significant number of migrants from non-english backgrounds.
