Mill Creek registered as a new Landcare group in July 2006.

Current activities the group are undertaking include protecting the riverbanks from weed invasion, and working with the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service to remove weeds from the Dharug National Park.

The group has support from the HNCMA & Gosford City Council (the group is also a registered Bushcare Group).
