Cumberland Plain Conservation Job Opportunity

In October/November 2008 a project proposal for a GreenCorp Team titled "Cumberland Plain Woodland - Giving it a Helping hand" was put forward to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.

Good news is our application has been successful! The team has a 6 month plan to assist the following Landcare and bushcare groups: Glenfiddich Rise Landcare, Barragal Landcare, Razorback Landcare, Theresa Green Landcare, Kooris on the move, the bushland at Camden Airport, Kings bush Bushcare, Mulgoa Landcare and no doubt will pick up a few more mini projects along the way with other groups.

We are now looking for a Team Leader, and interviews are expected to be conducted in the coming weeks, APPLICATIONS close 16th Feb 2009.

The Team Leader when appointed will begin with 3 days training in Sydney from Monday March 16^th - Wednesday March 18th. The team starts on the 6th April 2009.
