Annual Report 2006/07
In 2006/07 the Hawkesbury Nepean community in partnership with the Hawkesbury Nepean Catchment Management Authority restored 186 kilometres of riverbanks and protected 1241 hectares of native vegetation. During the year, the CMA's programs and partner contributions resulted in $19.1 million directly invested in on-ground environmental improvements. These results are highlighted in the CMA Annual Report 2006/07. Other key results for the year include:
All these projects were delivered in partnership with councils, landholders, community and landcare groups, government and non-government organisations. These results have insured the CMA has exceeded its performance milestones and targets by 178% for 2006/07. |
