How the Strategy will be implementedThe Strategy will help the Hawkesbury Nepean CMA to identify priorities for on ground investment in river health to ensure environmental outcomes are maximised.
Actions identified in the Strategy will be carried as part of the CMA's river health programs and projects:
Already the CMA is using the River Health Strategy to assess applications for funding from councils and landholders in the catchment. The CMA will also work closely with State government agencies, local governments, landholders and community groups to carry out the actions identified in the strategy and to ensure this investment is protected and enhanced. |
