Cumberland Plain Woodland

Listed as endangered under the EPBC Act and as an endangered ecological community under the TSC Act

Grassy White Box Woodlands

Listed as critically endangered under the EPBC Act and as an endangered ecological community under the TSC Act

Temperate Highland Peat Swamps on Sandstone

Listed as endangered under the EPBC Act. TSC Act lists Montane Peat Lands and Swamps as an endangered ecological community

Natural Temperate Grassland of the Southern Tablelands of NSW and ACT

Listed as endangered under the EPBC Act

Wetlands of national significance

Blue Mountains Sedge Swamps

These consist of numerous small wetlands of which 78% are in national parks

Longneck Lagoon

Much of the catchment of this wetland is within Scheyville National Park

Pitt Town Lagoon

This wetland is surrounded by urban area and farms

Thirlmere Lakes

Within Thirlmere Lakes National Park

Boyd Plateau Bogs

Within Kanangra/Boyd National Park

Long Swamp/Hanging Rock Swamp

This wetland is part of a larger system known as Paddys River swamps

Lake Bathurst and the Morass

These wetlands are a mix of leased Crown land and freehold

Wingecarribee Swamp

This wetland is also on the Register of National Estate
