Community and Partnership Targets

The following Catchment Condition (CT) and Management Targets (MT) were developed for the Community and Partnerships theme:
 

State-wide target: Natural resource decisions contributing to improving or maintaining economic sustainability and social wellbeing. There is an increase in the capacity of natural resource managers to contribute to regionally relevant natural resource management

CT C1 Community: Increasing the catchment community's capacity to contribute to managing its natural resources

MT C1-1 Social connectivity: Encouraging and supporting people's understanding of their rights and responsibilities in the catchment

MT C1-2 Incentives: Putting in place incentive programs to support achievement of targets

MT C1-3 Education and training: Fostering, brokering and developing education and training opportunities to support the targets

MT C1-4 Indigenous land management: Identifying, protecting, enhancing and rehabilitating sites of Indigenous cultural significance

MT C1-5 Data and information management: Developing, implementing and reviewing a comprehensive reporting, monitoring and evaluation framework

MT C1-6 Communication: Preparing and implementing a strategy that ensures effective communication with the community

MT C1-7 Subcatchment plans: Developing and implementing subcatchment plans are for the nine priority subcatchments
