Implementing the CAP
Revegetation efforts on South Creek, western Sydney
The CAP will be delivered by an Annual Implementation Plan, which is funded by a three-year rolling Investment Strategy. Both of these documents will be reviewed annually. The bi-laterial agreement between the State and Commonwealth Governments requires Catchment Management Authorities in NSW to direct at least 80% of their investment to on ground works. The remaining 20% will be spent on co-ordination, community support, monitoring and evaluation. The bulk of the investment is aimed at private landholders. |
