Benefits of conserving native vegetation


Landholders can gain a range of production and environmental benefits by conserving and enhancing native vegetation including:
  • better stock management

  • establishing windbreaks

  • addressing tree dieback

  • allowing natural regeneration

  • keeping stock nutrients on pastures where they are needed instead of in bushland areas
